★NEVER DIVED BEFORE? PERFECT.

Breathe underwater for the first time.

From your very first breath in the shallow end to guided dives on open reefs, we teach you to dive properly, calmly, and safely. No experience needed to start.

Who you'll be diving with

A dive school that starts you slow and takes you deep.

We started Yellow Tank with one belief: anyone can learn to dive if they're taught patiently, in small groups, by people who never rush them. Your first session is in calm, shallow water no open sea, no pressure, just learning to trust the gear and your own breathing.

From there it's your pace. Some people stop at their first reef dive and that's wonderful. Others go all the way to advanced and join us on guided tours of wrecks and walls. Wherever you stop, you'll be properly trained and genuinely safe.

WHAT DIVERS SAY

People who'd never put their face in the water.

I was genuinely scared of deep water. Marco started me in the shallow end and never once rushed me. Two months later I'm a certified diver. Still can't believe it.

Hannah B.

Open Water graduate

Did my Advanced course here and then joined the wreck trip. Small group, brilliant guides, and they clearly care more about safety than squeezing people in.

Tom & Priya

Advanced + tours

Booked the Try Dive as a birthday thing not expecting much. Now the whole family is doing the full course. The instructors are wonderful with kids.

Try Dive, then hooked

Your first breath underwater is closer than you think.

Most people start with a half-day Try Dive. No kit, no commitment just you, an instructor, and water you can stand up in.

Before you get in the water

The questions every first-timer asks us.

  • Do I need to be a strong swimmer?

You need to be comfortable in water and able to swim a short distance, but you don't need to be fast or athletic. We assess this gently in the pool before anything else.

  • Is scuba diving safe?

Recreational diving is very safe when you're properly trained and follow the rules, which is exactly what our courses drill into you. We keep groups small and never skip a safety step.

  • What if I panic underwater?

It's the most common worry and we build the whole first session around it. You start in shallow water you can stand up in, with an instructor within arm's reach, and you never go deeper until you're ready.

  • Do I need my own equipment?

No. Tanks, regulators, wetsuits, masks, and fins are all provided and included in the price. Just bring a swimsuit and a towel.

  • Are there medical or age requirements?

You'll complete a short medical questionnaire before diving, and some conditions need a doctor's sign-off. Minimum age for a Try Dive is 10. Get in touch if you're unsure, we're happy to talk it through.
